VIBROACOUSTIC BED
TLU Centre of Excellence in Health Promotion and Rehabilitation developed a prototype of a device for vibroacoustic therapy – a vibroacoustic bed. The device is designed as an anti-stress device that promotes relaxation, alleviates pain, and eases muscle tension by relaxing striated and non-striated muscles. It also helps lower blood pressure as well as improve blood circulation and boost metabolism. The ergonomic design takes into account both the patient and the therapist conducting the procedure. It is mobile, easily maintained and aesthetically compatible with different environments.
The device is protected as an industrial design and is manufactured by SMARTdo LLC branded as healBED under a licence agreement with the school. See healbed.com for more information.
